“Sasha!” A harsh voice yelling my name pulls me from my inner turmoil, making me look away from the steaming cup of joe right in front of me. “Sasha, dammit, get out of your fucking head.”

Turning towards the direction of the voice, I yank my Glock from its concealed holster and aim it with my finger on the trigger. “If you fucking yell my name again, I’m going to make you choke on my fucking cock until you fucking suffocate.” The man at the other end of my barrel turns ghost white and begins to stutter. As he does, his fat neck begins to wiggle like jello. His petrified reaction makes me roll my eyes and let out a grunt. Turning back towards my coffee, I slam my gun down and look out to the rest of the room.

Frank, Joe, and Godfrey are all leaning back

in their chairs with annoyed expressions. Viktor leans against the wall, looking out into the compound pretty much ignoring everything and everyone. Grabbing my coffee, I take a swig and mutter, “So have we come up with a decision yet?”

“If you were paying attention, instead of staring off into oblivion, you would have heard what we came up with. Poor William over there, who now smells like piss, was only trying to get your attention to get your opinion on the matter.”

Blowing off what Frank said, I turn towards Godfrey and scowl. ”How did you do it? We’ve been begging her for weeks to come out of her room, but you go up there and boom, the next morning, she's walking out in just a t-shirt and a buttplug in her gorgeous ass.”

Smirking, Godfrey flicks open the knife he's been playing with and replies, “Pain knows pain, Sasha. Give her some time. She’ll be back to her spunky and rebellious self in no time. You just have to know her triggers and make sure you care for her. Just because she's putting on a brave front doesn't mean she's not falling apart inside.”

“I would never do anything to hurt her, you know this.” Waving him off, I look at Viktor and nod my head towards him. “This meeting doesn't involve me anymore. Selene is home, she's safe with you, and I'm no longer needed. Rising from my chair, I begin to walk to the door to make my exit, that is, until a blade flies right past my face and plants itself into the door that I was just about to walk through.

“Sit down.” Godfrey’s demanding tone

makes me raise my brows in surprise. Not wanting to cause any waves, I do as he says and return to my seat. His eyes never leave me, not even when he starts to talk to pissy pants. “William, you’re excused. We will run it down to him and let you know. Also, get a hold of Doyle. He's been holding something that belongs to this ass.” With a nod, William slides out of the office, quickly closing the door behind him.
